It was ten years ago I eagerly went to the theater in Bridgewater, NJ to see what was supposed to be the next step in cinema. Computer Graphic Imagery (CGI) had been used in movies for years, but this movie had no real actors, no real sets. The entire movie was created visually on computers. An impressive feat since not many studios at the time had the capabilities to manage something on this scale. Square was long known for putting together amazing cut scenes for their Final Fantasy games, but this had to translate to the big screen, not just everyone’s Playstation 2.
